First real hike after my car accident. Feels so so great to be back in the mountains. We got to Park Butte lookout by 2pm. It was very hot, some bugs flying around. The views on this hike are amazing. Mt baker, Shuksan and the Twin Sisters are easily seen on a clear day. I will be adding this to my list of hikes to do again. My leg was definitely sore on the way back. 7.5 mile roundtrip with 2200 feet of elevation gain. we took a slower pace on the way back as blueberries were in abundance. Making it back to the car by around 5 pm had a great day.
